Manufacturing
Spur produces molds for most ingot sizes and water distribution technologies. Slab casters typically specify their basic mold design features and then CJi and Spur seamlessly handle the details.
Materials Supply
Some customers prefer to provide metal from their own mills – otherwise Spur can furnish the metal. It is the customer's choice. Our goal is to achieve the very best value for our customers.
Performance Testing
All Spur molds must pass a series of quality checks including full flow water testing to assure uniform water distribution. Water flow performance is documented and results are available with each order.
Drawing Conversions
CJi works closely with customers to assure engineering information is accurate and current. We can coordinate conversion from various drawing formats and are ready to document drawing dimensions as needed.
